Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) is a public university founded in 1949 and primarily funded by the Government of Tokyo. Through scholarships, it is committed to pioneering the future of the world by contributing to the social, cultural, economic, and technological vitality of Tokyo and beyond. We continually strive to innovate in education and research across a wide range of disciplines, emphasizing close interactions between faculty and students.
