Kobe University

Formally established in 1949, Kobe University (KU) is a national university based in western Japan. Its roots date back further, to 1902, when it was originally known as Kobe Higher Commercial School. Today, KU is one of Japan’s leading comprehensive universities with 10 faculties and schools, including Ocean Science and Technology, 15 graduate schools and a great number of research centers and institutions with its varied districts and location between the sea and the mountains of Kobe, enterprising spirit where you can enjoy a fulfilling study abroad experience and develop the ability to thrive in the global age.
