Kyoto Minsai Japanese Language School

We offer both long-term course and short-term course. One can study from 1-2 years at the long-term course, depending on their purpose: academic course (suitable for students going to higher education in Japan) or integrated studies course (suitable for students aiming to live and work in Japan). On the other hand, the short-term course is aimed for students who want learn Japanese culture alongside the language in a short duration between 2-10 weeks. As of July 2024, around 600 long-term students and 53 short-term students are studying at Kyoto Minsai Japanese Language School. With our students coming from approximately 40 different countries, class environment is paramount for us, as it will greatly influence the learning progress. Therefore, we prioritize keeping the ideal number of students between 10 to 20 people in one class.
