Founded in 1949, Tottori University is a Japanese national university consisting of four undergraduate faculties and five graduate schools. As of May 2024, Tottori University has 168 International Students from 32 countries. Temporary accommodation is offered to them. Moreover, there are scholarships for privately Funded International students. There is also a tuition waiver system.

<Engineering> Master’s Program: Special Green Sustainable Chemistry Program in Collaboration with Southwest Asia, Department of Engineering, Graduate School of Sustainability Science. Doctoral Program: Course availability may vary, but most international students can take all courses without any issues.
<Agriculture> Master’s Program: (1) General Program for privately financed international students, Department of Agricultural Science, Graduate School of Sustainability Science. (2) Special Program in Bioresource Utilization Science of Fungus and Mushrooms, Department of Agricultural Science, Graduate School of Sustainability Science. (3) Special Program in the Department of Dryland Science, Graduate School of Sustainability Science. Doctoral Program: The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences.
