Utsunomiya University

Utsunomiya University (UU) is a national medium-sized university located in Utsunomiya City, the largest city in the northern Kanto region, about 80 km north of Tokyo, with 5,000 students and 340 faculty members. There are six Schools: School of Data Science and Management, School of Regional Design, School of International Studies, Cooperative Faculty of Education, School of Engineering, and School of Agriculture. There are 250 international students, including regular and non-regular, from 20 different countries, mainly from China, Malaysia and other Asian countries. Out of about 910 graduate students, 110 are international students, and many of whom receive specialized education.
